LICSS Offers Opportunities to earn
Professional Development Hours and In-Service CreditFor
workshops and other programs held outside of regular
school hours, LICSS provides:
· a certificate stating the number of hours of professional
development involved in the program and certifies that
the teacher was present for the entire program.
· In the case of some programs, the opportunity to earn
additional hours and actual in-service credits For example,
developing a lesson plan based on a three hour workshop
would, if lesson is approved by the LICSS Professional
Development Committee, earn an attendee five hours of
professional credit or one third of an in service credit.
